You sat on the hill, leaning against a tree. This is the place where you would come when you were sad. You were just turned down by your crush yesterday. You sighed. "It's so pretty up here... I almost forgot about the turn down..." Then you heard someone sit down behind you. 'What the...' You thought as you looked over to get a better look at the person. It was a boy in a blue outfit with a blue scarf thing on. He sighed, but jumped when he noticed you with a little blush on his face. "Uh... h-hello there...." He smiled nervously. "Hi..." You said. "So watcha doin' here?" You asked. "Oh... u-um.... I come here when I'm sad..." He said and put his head down a little. You went to sit in front of him. "Oh... I come here when I'm sad too...." You whispered and sat down. He lifted his head at that comment. You saw his face and he looked kinda...cute. "R-really? Wow... I've never seen you here.... Ahhh oh- I'm being rude... hehe.. I'm John Egbert!" He said and smiled, blushing a little. "O-oh.... I'm (f/n) (l/n)..." You said, sticking your hand out for him to shake. He grabbed it and shook it joyfully. You were blushing now. "So... if you don't mind me asking...uh...why are you sad?" You said, face heating up of embarrassment. His smile dropped. "Well (f/n).... my friend, Rose, died..." He said, starting to sulk a little. "Oh... I'm really sorry..." You said, smile dropping also. "No I'm f-fine..." He whispered. "I just met you...you shouldn't h-have to worry a-about me..." He was on the verge of crying now. 'Great! You made him cry! What is wrong with you!' You mentally punched yourself for that. "Please don't cry....I'm really sorry..." Your voice turned to a whisper. You went over to him and sat down next to him. "Please?" You said, looking up at his teary-eyed face. "-sniff- Heh... Hey (f/n)... -sniff- I think we will be good friends..." He whispered and looked down at you with a weak smile. "Yeah..." You said and smiled. "Thanks...(f/n)...' He said. "Whaaa.... for what?" You asked, suprised. "For being here for me.... even though we just met! Haha!" He said with a cute little laugh. "Haha... yeah... your welcome...." You said, standing up and going over to the other side of the tree. He followed, sitting next to you. "The sky is so pretty..." You said, closing your eyes. They shot right back open when you felt someone leaning on you. It was John. "It sure is..." He said, closing his eyes. You started to blush like mad, hoping he didn't notice. He opened his dark blue eyes to look at you. "Hehe.... you're blushing!" You looked from left to right. "I-i am? I didn't notice..." You said nervously and stood up. You hit your head on a tree branch. Ow...hahaha...stupid tree!" You said shaking your fist in the air sarcastically. "Haha... you are funny! Oh and...where are you going?" He asked, standing up. You turned to look at him. "Oh...I have to go home...but we can see each other at....at school! Maybe...if you go to my school..." You said, thinking if you've ever seen him at your school. "Yeah...I've seen you at my school before... yesterday you were talking to a guy and you walked away looking sad..." He said, face looking sad. "Oh yeah...he was my crush for a while....he...he turned me down..." You said, having the same expression as him except sadder. Then John came up to you. "What are you-" You got cut off by him hugging you. "AAAAHHH!!! What are you doing?!?!" You said into his shirt. "You looked like you needed a hug!" He stated. "That was...unnecessary John but....thanks..." You said, blushing a little. He then let you go. "Well....I guess we both have to go home....see you at school tomorrow!" He said and smiled again. "Yeah see you!" You said and began walking the 30 minute walk home.

~*Time Skip*~

It has been 7 months since you met John, and you two became best friends. You two talked on pesterchum everynight. Tonight you went on pesterchum to see if anyone was on. When you looked throught the list, nobody was online. You sighed. "I could go and watch and episode of an anime?..." You said and began searching for an anime. Right when you found one, someone pestered you.

ectoBiologist [EB] began pestering chumHandle [CH] at 4:13 P.M.

EB: hey (f/n)! : B

CH: Hey John! :3

EB: what's up?

CH: Nothing really...I just found an anime...

EB: cool! hey...wanna meet up at the park in a few minutes?

CH: Uhhh.....sure! : D I'd love to!

EB: awesome! see you in a few!

CH: Bye~

ectoBiologist [EB] ceased pestering chumHandle [CH] at 4:15 P.M.

"I guess I have to go get ready..." You said and got out of your chair. You put on a (f/c) t-shirt, (2 f/c) shorts, and a (f/c) scarf. With that, you walked out of your house, locked it, and headed towards the park.

~*At The Park*~

You looked around. It was fairly peaceful. You looked again and saw John sitting on one of the benches. You walking over to him, waving. "Hey John!" You said, sitting down. "Hey (f/n)!" He said and smiled that adorable smile. "So what did you call me here for?" You said, curious as to why he called you here this chilly afternoon. "Oh...uh....I needed to tell you something...." He said, voice turning serious. 'I wonder what the serious tone was for?' You thought and waited for what was coming. "I...uh....like you...a lot...." he said while trying to avoid your eyes. You were shocked. You never thought he would like you that way. "Well....here's my answer..." You leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips. It lasted for a few seconds then you parted. You laughed at his dumbfounded face. "S-so you like me??!?" He said, still a little shocked. You ruffled his hair. "Of course you big dummy!" You said. He fixed his hair and asked, "Wanna go and get some ice cream?" "IIIICCCEEE CRREEEAAAAMMM!!!!" You yelled. He laughed at your behavior. "C'mon! Let's go then!" He said. With that, you walked away, hand intertwined with John's.
